Supply and Sanitation Target Program is responsible for the
coordination of government and international donor funded rural water
supply and sanitation projects in Vietnam.
To accelerate the delivery of rural clean water supply and sanitation
the Prime Minster has approved the National Rural Water Supply and
Sanitation Strategy which seeks to use the internal strength of rural
people and to develop a market for related services to support
sustainable development through the adoption of socialisation, a
demand responsive approach and the principle of full cost recovery
with targeted subsidies.
